Boy have i got my work cut out for me !!!
Bertie is my first bug..although i have wanted one for 15 years!
Found out he is a last edition beetle...i know he doesnt look it but ohh what lies beneath eh!!
so far i have taken doors windows wings and interior out...just the electrics left. Have tried to sand him down, de rust and prime myself but he has too much rust, rot and holes so next step is to get him sandblasted...just hope there will be something left of him when he comes back

thanks for ur message. bertie is a 78 bug and yes i should get some more photos of him uploaded this week....showing all his glorious rust!!!!hows things going with yours. will he make it to jitterbug????

Hi I like  your bug and it  don't look that bad compared to some i've seen but really hard to tell. Once you get the paint off you will know more.  Here in Canada there is lots more showing up seems like everyone is in love with  VW's :) I'm hoping to get mine back together  before next weekend so i can attend our June Jitterbug should be a great turn out. What year is your Bug? and do you have anymore pics?
